You may think that ‘training’ is just for serious athletes, Whether you want to train to lose a few pounds or you want to increase your cycling performance - Exercise must fit you as an individual. As you train, it's important to be able to quickly measure your heart rate. Recent research has shown powerful benefits from exercising in several different zones to get maximum benefit.
Heart rate training zones are calculated by taking into consideration your Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) and your Resting Heart Rate (RHR).
Within each training zone, subtle physiological effects take place to enhance your fitness
You may have been to the gym and cautiously noticed those Heart Rate charts, where they read ‘220 beats minus half your age plus 5’ to determine a personal maximum HR. Actually your HR is genetically determined, which means those charts aren’t very accurate.
At TrainSharp, we can ascertain individual training zones and maximum power at any given heart rate.
Once you know your training zones, you can then exercise according to your goals and fitness capacity.

Our Coaching Packages
This stage is ideally targeted to beginners who want to improve. It includes monthly assessments, goal setting and planned training sessions.
For more experienced riders this package includes everything in stage 1 + powermeter file analysis, race tactics and preparation and regular weekly contact.
For expert riders and professionals, this package includes diet and nutrition advice, coaching rides and fitness testing as well as daily contact and advice as required.
